The mobile editor is pretty much a reduced version of the V4 Editor but it's still pretty cool to have VOCALOID on your pocket and work with it on the go without the presence of a computer.! Not all voice banks that have been released are available for purchase for the mobile editor. You can’t unfortunately use PC/Mac voice banks. Now you can make VOCALOID projects with your phone/tablet and buy more voice banks on the SHOP icon if you want. Boom, you now own the Mobile VOCALOID Editor (which, by the way, comes with a default singer (VY1_Lite, which is basically a single pitch V2 version of VY1). How to download the app - After buying and redeeming your card with your Japanese account you can search for the editor on the app store and buy it. You can get more Gift cards if you want to buy more voice banks for the mobile editor.
If you want the app + 2 voice banks, for example, you could get a ¥10000 Gift card. If you just want the app, you could get a ¥5000 Gift card. You might think is a lot of money, but make a quick google search of the current price of VOCALOID 5 and a singular voice bank and then come back here. The price of the app is ¥4900 (almost $50) and each voice bank is ¥2440 (almost $25). You can pay for them with PayPal or with a credit card. How to get Japanese Gift cards - There are various websites where you can buy Japanese Gift cards. After filling all that, you should now be able to browse on the Japanese App Store. Select your payment method as "None" and you can just fill the billing address with gibberish (it doesn't really matter since you're not paying with a credit or debit card, but with gift cards). At first, you will be asked to enter a payment method and a billing address. How to enter the Japanese App Store - Enter the App Store, enter the "Account" section by clicking on your profile picture icon, go all the way down and click "log out". Enter the Apple ID site, fill what they ask you for (name, email, birth date, email, password.), select your country as "Japan", confirm your email and phone number and you now have a Japanese Apple ID. You just need an email address that hasn't been assigned to another Apple ID and a phone number (doesn’t necessarily have to be Japanese). How to make a Japanese Apple ID - You don't really need too much to make a Japanese Apple ID. To get the Mobile VOCALOID Editor you'll need: An iOS or iPadOS device (specifications can be found on the app's website), a Japanese Apple ID, Japanese iTunes Gift Cards (you will pay with these). So, I'm going to teach you (those who are interested on getting this app) how to get the mobile version of the VOCALOID 4 Editor, also known as the "Mobile VOCALOID Editor". Some of you probably know about this app but don't know how to install it and some of you probably didn't know it existed.
